Launched in 2001, Arts in the Park Mardi Gras is one of the city’s largest annual community art events. Inspired by international arts festivals and carnivals such as London’s Notting Hill Carnival and Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro Carnival, Victoria Park will be transformed into a spectacular outdoor art gallery, including 22-feet tall masterpieces, display floats of giant puppets, 20 interactive stalls where visitors of all ages get to create their own masks, headdresses, rod puppet and try face-painting for free. Dozens of youth groups will also provide 16 exciting hours of live performances showcasing boundless talent and creativity.

Don’t miss the bewitching and dazzling Night Parade in Causeway Bay and the Grand Finale Parade featuring giant puppets, rod puppets, extravagant parade artworks and choreographed dance routines by over 1,000 students and local artists.
